Vienna is a city of magnificent palaces and majestic plazas, picturesque streets and numerous squares. Vienna is an ancient city with a great name that awakens dreams. The architecture of the city is dominated by massive buildings, next to which you will feel very small. The symbol of the city is St. Stephen’s Cathedral, located in the central part of the Old Town on the same square.
Not far from the Cathedral Square is the imperial palace Hofburg, the construction of which began even before the accession to the throne of the Habsburgs. Under the Habsburgs, the palace served as the main house of the imperial family in Vienna, and nowadays the palace is the official residence of the President of Austria.
The main street of the city is the famous Ringstraße boulevard, which is laid in a semicircle on the site of the former city walls that once surrounded Vienna’s Old Town. The ends of the boulevard are connected by the quay of Franz Josef. On this “Boulevard Ring” are the most expensive and respectable institutions.
In the southeastern part of the city is worth visiting the palace complex Belvedere of the early 18th century, where the Gallery of Austrian Art is housed with a collection of works from the Middle Ages to the present day.

Visit the former summer residence of the Empress Elizabeth, the famous Sissi. The original decorations of this baroque palace complex are a magnificent park, Palm House, Glorietta Pavilion and Zoo.
The works of Rembrandt and Rubens, Raphael and Caravaggio are collected in the historical and artistic museum, extensive collections of Egyptian, Greek and Roman products, sculptures from the times of the Austrian Baroque, Renaissance and the Middle Ages are represented.
